Lindale Park - The Hidden Jewel
Lindale Park is nestled among tall oaks and countless magnolias in Houston’s near Northside Village. Sometimes called the “Hidden Jewel” of the inter-loop neighborhoods Lindale Park is just east of the Heights. One of the finest of Houston’s older neighborhoods, Lindale Park’s boundaries are Interstate 610 on the north, Moody Street on the south, Robertson Street on the east, and Fulton Street on the west.
La Mansion Update
Over the past few weeks, La Mansion has distributed fliers and an invitation to an open house. As a result, Lindale Park Civic Club has been getting a lot of questions from residents on the status of 5006 Fulton.
Please note:
No change in re-plat has been granted by the City for the property at 5006 Fulton to be converted from residential to commercial. The status of the property remains the same and therefore a venue or any other type of business cannot operate legally.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at info@lindalepark.org.

Chapter 42 Information Sessions & Signing Opportunities
Interested in Preserving the Character of Lindale Park? A group of residents has begun the effort to preserve the character of our neighborhood through Chapter 42 - the city's land development ordinance.
The group is walking house-to-house wearing Lindale Park shirts and nametags to obtain signatures. They will be asking residents to help preserve the neighborhood by establishing a minimum lot size, preventing incompatible residential development (like this).
Please take the time to talk with them, sign the papers and help protect Lindale Park. If you have questions, email them to Gwyn (gguidy@comcast.net) or Kathy (gutierrezkathy@sbcglobal.net) or info@lindalepark.org.
Chapter 42 Meetings Every Week in October
We will have a Chapter 42 meeting every Wednesday in October at the clubhouse (218 Joyce) from 6-7pm.
At these meetings we will collect signatures, explain Chapter 42, and update our current Chapter 42 status. We will also do our best to answer any questions that you might have! So, please come by and see us or feel free to call us with any concerns/questions!

“Located Just east of the Heights and I-45, Lindale Park has plenty of large shade trees and 50 year old bungalows. The houses have "interesting architecture" --a key ingredient in starting a neighborhood gentrification boom, said Barbra Coffman of Coldwell Banker SwilleyHudson.”
